Part of the remains of the Grand Lodge, Knowsley Hall, which was demolished for the building of the M57 motorway in 1972. Part of the inscription BRING GOOD NEWS AND KNOCK BOLDLY, can be seen in the rubble. This inscription was a feature above the door of the Square North Tower. The Round South Tower was the living quarters of the Lodge keepers.
